The Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries (Food Pantry)
Please donate food items:

For 2024:
Any and all non-perishable food items are appreciated, but here are some suggestions for each month. Also, liquid laundry detergent is always needed.
February – Hot chocolate, canned or bottled juice, coffee (instant or canned)
Also: personal hygiene products are requested this month, such as shampoo, conditioner, hand soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes - any thing that a man or woman can use.
March - Canned or package soup, pancake mix complete (just add water), & syrup
April - Canned meat products such as beef stew, chili, spam, chicken
May - Powdered milk, facial tissues, peanut butter and jelly
June - Beans, potatoes, rice, mac & cheese (boxed, packaged, canned)
July - Paper towels, pancake mix complete (just add water)
August - School supplies, cleaning products, toilet paper, jelly
September - Canned fruit, fruit cocktail, plastic packs of fruit
October - Canned meat products such as beef stew, chili, spam, chicken
November - Cake mix, icing, cranberry sauce, instant mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, turkey stuffing mix, any type of fruit (plastic containers or canned)
December – Coffee, instant & canned, pancake mix complete (just add water) and syrup.

Recent actions:
The treasurer reports that our checkbook is healthy. We so appreciate the donations from the congregation…Thank You!
Communication: At least 35-60 cards are sent out each month. Please consider donating cards or postage stamps to continue this ministry.
Food Collections for the Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries (GWCM) Food Bank continue to do well. Thank you to all who bring in these food donations each Sunday and special thanks to Kathy and John Pedicone for delivering the items to the Food Bank each week.
Deacons continue to visit folks each week or make phone calls to members. We make approximately 25 – 30 visits per month. Please contact the church office if you wish a visit from Pastor Will or a deacon visit.

Special Projects:
Deacons are involved with many Special Projects throughout the year. Most recent was Mother’s Day carnations and kisses, Father’s Day chocolate bars, Graduate Lunch (Ben Taylor and parents were taken out to celebrate his college graduation. Lexi Brenner could not make it –she graduated from GCIT.), gifts for graduates and confirmants: Lauren Geserick, Howard Good, Victoria Good, Marley Keene, Robert Urion, Shannon Woodrow

Deacon meetings are held each month on the 4th Tuesday of the month except July, August & December, but we are always busy with our congregation’s needs.
